LDE was the Project Designer/Production Technician for all parcels within Adero Canyon. LDE designed the roads, lot layouts, grading, and all water sewer, and drainage infrastructure. We also designed a curved bridge using a conventional deck and girder system over a large 404 wash. This is the only bridge structure within Fountain Hills.

LDE’s design maximized the use of natural rock conditions and minimized additional retaining walls. The major bike path connects the Fountain Hills and Scottsdale bike path systems. A major obstacle for this path was an 85 foot elevation difference. LDE’s design solution was a bike path with a maximum grade of 8%, which flattens at the switchbacks to 2% with 4% super-elevated curves.
